Visit the sea lions and look at boats at Pier 39. Pier 39 is touristy and kitschy, but if you’re in the mood and able to lean into it, it can be really fun. Chelsea’s parents met working on a Blue and Gold fleet yacht which are usually docked near the sea lions. If you’re feeling spunky/sporty, we recommend trying on and purchasing a 49ers hat at the Lids store.
